LOT 17 - Artillería Fábrica Nacional Toledo Bayonet – Spanish Military
Description

A striking piece of military history, this Spanish bayonet was crafted in the legendary arms-producing city of Toledo, Spain—long celebrated for its centuries-old sword-making tradition. Stamped “Artillería Fca Nacional Toledo,” this model was issued with Spanish Mauser rifles, such as the Modelo 1893 and Modelo 1943, and may have seen use in the Spanish Civil War or post-WWII era.

Features a full-tang blade with a central fuller, hardwood grip scales secured with dual rivets, and a locking mechanism designed to mount onto a rifle barrel. The design is both rugged and elegant—typical of Toledo craftsmanship.

A great collector’s item or conversation piece with real historical weight (literally and figuratively). See photos for details on condition and markings.
